The authentic website for Our Lady of America is http://www.ourladyofamerica.com Rome City though the place where the apparitions began is not the place from which the authentic messages are to be found. Sorry but it’s true. The family that has become involved are not the origional people. But most important is that that apostolate has edited the messages of Our Lady of America removing the later messages ( from 1960 to 1981) after Archbishop Leibold died. He was the spiritual director and the visonary’s Archbishop. They were printed at the direction of the spiritual director at the time. Also it removes the prayer to the Indwelling Most Holy Trinity which is key to understanding the messages. Does that seem right to you? The other guy has gotten a foot hold and if it was not possible to suppress this message any longer then edit and distort it.
Obedience is key. as well as seeing that the complete messge is kept intact. To try to hurry this apparition thru deleting certain aspects of the message and devotion is like a cross with out a corpus. And that is what has been attempted. What strikes me as ironic is that the above referenced web site waged a smear campaign against an elderly nun trying to say that she was not a legitimate nun. Does that seem Christian to you? But the problem with that logic is that the nun in question was living in community with the visionary Sr. Mildred Neuzil so they are making the same claims against the seer. Go figure.

Our Lady of Emmitsburg, Emmitsburg, MD— a very holy place, home of Mt. St. Mary’s Seminary (the oldest in the country), St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Shrine, St. Joseph’s Provincial House, and of course the Grotto. The visionary is Dr. Gianna Sullivan, founder of Mission of Mercy (health care for the poor)

The fact that Our Lady of the Roses on Long Island is disapproved has more to say about the Bishop than the seer. The seer , Veronica, said what Mary told her even if she did not understand the words . The Bishop just didn’t like what he heard. So we are that much poorer due to his pride.

The devotion to Our Lady of America is so important to our country and the world. Each day it becomes more urgent to heed the requests of Our Lady of America. It saddens me so much to see statements such as #3. It is unclear to which website she is referring but oltiv.org and Rome City are not involved in any “smear campaign.” At a time when Our Lady has said the hour grows late….it is a shame that everyone is not working for the spread of this devotion. Instead some (even unwittingly) are impeding it’s progress by falsehood and innuendo. As I am only interested in spreading the good news about this beautiful devotion and will only briefly address these false allegations at the end of this note.
Rome City is the site of the first apparitions and central messages of Our Lady of America. This devotion has canonical approval by Bishop Leibold and has been reaffirmed in May of 2007 by then -Archbishop Raymond Burke. The chapel where Our Lady first appeared as Our Lady of America 53 years ago is still intact and since the purchase in 2000, the doors are always open to anyone who feels called to be there. Volunteers provide tours free of charge, and every week on Friday evening the 15 decade rosary and Divine Mercy chaplet are prayed. Many visitors continue to pray in spirit with those in Rome City after returning home. Not only were miracles occurring before and after Sr. Mildred’s visions, but to this day there have been many spiritual and physical cures. There is spring water on the property that has been tested and is almost identical to the water at Lourdes. There are people who have been miraculously cured by use of this water although they have never been able to make a pilgrimage to Rome City themselves. As in Fatima and Medjugorge, many pilgrims have witnessed the Miracle of the Sun. Frequently people who have traveled to Lourdes, Fatima or Medjugorge feel that Rome City is as special or more special than the aforementioned pilgrimage sites. When you arrive on the property the peace is palpable and overwhelming. So many people like myself have witnessed miracles and have received spiritual or physical healing through the intercession of Our Lady of America. The owner and devotees are only interested in spreading the news of this devotion and praying for the Bishops to enthrone Her statue in the likeness of Our Lady of America in the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in D.C. as She requested. We continue to pray for the preservation of this special place in Rome City. Visit oltiv.org for more info on the history, current events and testimonials about Our Lady of America. If you ever have the opportunity to visit this special place don’t miss it! Our Lady has stated “Bring me all my children” and wants to lead all to Her Son, Our Savior, Jesus Christ.
In followup regarding the false allegations:
1)the property in Rome City is no longer owned by the Sisters as in the 1950’s, because they sold the property to a college. It was purchased by a Catholic businessman in 2000 who has worked to restore it and keep it open for the faithful.
2)The owner of the property and website (oltiv.org) has never been involved with any publications or the printing of any materials much less editing, deleting etc.
3)The first and central messages were received in the Our Lady Mother of Mercy Chapel in Rome City Indiana, and enjoy canonical approval. The messages after 1963 have not been approved.
Rather than hinder progress of this devotion, please pray that Her requests may soon be fulfilled. This devotion was given by Our Lady and meant for all.
